A construction estimate should include: project scope description, itemized materials with quantities and unit costs, labor hours and rates, equipment costs, overhead percentage (typically 10-20%), profit margin (typically 8-15%), taxes, payment terms, and timeline. Include contingency (5-10%) for unforeseen costs.

How do I turn this template into a live estimate?

Fill in your line items and keep the column headers exactly as they are. Then in Contractor Co-Pilot, open an estimate, go to the Line Items tab, and click Import.
